Between the idea and choreography, the dancers, the song, the voice, lights, cinematography, everything... I cannot decide whether this speaks more from beautiful imagination or from reality.

Seven
Six for the strings on a guitar
No, seven for heart string to bring it far
A hundred thousand million colourful stars
Let's gaze up and write our stories down.
Sail across the seven seas
But oh so more than seven wonders of the Galaxy
Never stop wondering how much we do not know
Connecting the dots though they'll never complete
So keep your eyes open for this nightlight show

Answer to Quora question: What are the tips for turbulent, sensitive and authentic INFJ to thrive and succeed in life?
Wow this is a good, big question.
Honestly, it feels too big to sum up but here are a few points I’ve found helpful:
- Be assertive without the compulsion to explain yourself. Not everything requires an in-depth explanation, and you don’t owe everyone an explanation.
- ENFP shadow type is your friend. And I don’t mean find ENFP friends (though that isn’t a bad idea), I mean don’t be afraid to be ENFPish or whatever. Don’t feel that you are any less authentic when in a less expected ‘mode’ of existence; it’s quite the opposite. INFJs are known for being difficult to pigeonhole, and you probably already know it’s not worth it to define any person with four letters anyway.
- Keep a collection of ephemeral thoughts, experiences, lessons, feelings, ideas, etc. Doesn’t have to be detailed, just enough to capture the sense of it. (And include happy ones)
- Allow happiness to cohabit with sadness.
- Be forgiving, including with yourself. Irrational or undue guilt is not helpful to anybody.
- Keep empathizing with others, but feel your own feelings too.
- Allow yourself to be validated, not victimized. This will also help with assertiveness. Feelings may be layered and mixed and not make sense on their own, but if you keep honest with them they do make sense. (Try explaining it to a mature INTJ and they’ll probably at least on a logical level get what you mean!)
- Don’t overdo humility, otherwise no matter how sincere it can come across as insincere which only adds more anxiety. Humour can be a fun way to help lighten things up :)
- Continue being positive, including towards others. Different views of idealism are sometimes seen as a bad thing, but those are usually the extreme kind. INFJs tend to think in principles, so use that to your advantage.
- Go with you gut, it is like the middle friend who your head, heart, and conscience all whisper secrets too. Indecision can be overwhelming. Try not to overthink things. (edit: help I keep going back to make tiny adjustments to this answer)
Might add more later, but this is a good question and I hope these are helpful

"Caterpillars in your stomach"
You know how sometimes when you're starting to get a crush or infatuation people describe the feeling of having "butterflies in your stomach"? Well, some of us are pretty slow to get butterflies, but there is another feeling I feel is sometimes a prequel but distinct in itself that maybe we can call caterpillars.
Slowly crawling, there may not be any any feelings flitting about, but there is a thought where can't help but notice "hey, this person has x nice quality, I might want to get to know them a little better."
Not all caterpillars become butterflies, sometimes they turn out to be cute little worms or die altogether, but they are curious little somethings that seemed to deserve their own distinct idiom.

eg: "I didn't feel butterflies in my stomach, but maybe caterpillars in my brain."

Without Modern Medicine
It's always strange to think about how without access to modern medicine I would be dead right now.
In fact, I probably would have died as a toddler. I never would have gone to school, never would have become a stronger person from overcoming whatever difficulties, never would have become a Christian or taught anyone else about the bible, or anything else except being a lesson for my parents on how to let go. I never would have made the friends I have made except one, or traveled, wrote poetry, or organized any events or played games with my friends or learned any songs or started any campfires.
As a fundraiser when people would ask "why" I do this it was almost difficult to sum it up in one sentence, especially when I couldn't tell for sure if they were coming from the angle of "because it's not going to end poverty overall", or just a general "what motivates you?" Other times it was a prequel to a more specific question like I chose this charity, or occasionally if I am religious, but those ones are easy.
Sometimes I'd go with the starfish story. If that felt too long for the situation, then the best I might come up with is because even if it won't change the whole world, it will change somebody's world. I did nothing to earn the situation I was born into, and if I were born into theirs I'd really hope someone would help me this way.
Sometimes people would criticize us for helping people who live in other countries. It does not invalidate the plight of people who live in ours or mean we should not help them too to decide to help a stranger from another place with their basic needs for survival.
Who cares what side of an imaginary line on a map we were born on? Let's just help whoever we can, whoever is in reach. It is truly sad that sometimes people in need within our our country of residence are actually harder to help than someone from another, but that doesn't make it wrong to help the person from somewhere else.
Not so arteestic photos
Since my camera camera (as opposed to phone camera) broke my photos have been less arteestic and less meaningful. There has been more of a glut of useless photos so I'm trying to be more mindful of what I shoot again. It's just almost too easy to take a photo with the touchscreen button, yet so hard to get the right angle with the camera in the corner of the rectangle.
I should stop complaining and just get a new camera.

The cat was misbehaving, so my dad put her in the cage. When my mom went to take her out shortly after my dad said not to for a little while longer, because she had earned "a ten-minute sentence". My mother said that sounds like a very long sentence. I asked if she would call it "a run-on sentence"?

Antisocial Networking Site / Your mark here
In some ways this blog feels kind of like my personal antisocial networking site. I'm still not brave enough for facebook or twitter posts, but this feels good for now.
One of the reasons why it's so easy is because I don't know any of you (as far as I know), but if you have anything like a personal blog or anything positive you'd like to share with the mystery people who read this website, please feel free to leave it in the comments below.
Thanks guys :)

Every day, people find the strength to get up to a day they didn't even want to wake up to, and it really is quite amazing.
If you happen to be one of those people, thank you for being inspiring.

Answer to Quora question: What does a mature INTJ and INFJ look like?
To add to what has already been said, part of maturity for an INFJ is able to be assertive, and not just to stand up for others but even to express their own individual feelings and emotions.
Also, allowing happiness to cohabit with sadness.
…And for both of the above, doing so without feeling overwhelmed by irrational guilt seems to be a common theme.

"Oh wow, it's really late."
You know that feeling when you're in a creative flow and you completely lose track of time?
It's amazing how the same thing can happen when you're talking to a good friend where the conversation just flows.
It's like the conversation is a creative art in itself, and before you know it you've been talking for hours and hardly noticed the closest star/giant burning ball of gas in the sky is no longer visible.

p.s. Shoutout to Mara for making my day with an entire evening of babbling travel, MBTI, life goals, family, biology, spirituality, and art, that definitely did not feel like an entire evening at all.

"Act like a spy"
Back in drama class we were all assigned a job, as we had to all mingle in that character and tell eachother what we do.
I got spy, and was so confused because doesn't that mean to act like a spy I should be acting not like a spy?
So I discreetly observed people whilst lying to everybody in conversation about what I was or rather who I was supposed to be.
I only reported the truth this nice girl who was some sort of high-ranking government official I decided for the sake of the activity was on the same side. Happy to say, she thought we made a pretty good team too.
Sitting against a dishwasher
It's nice sitting up against a dishwasher.
You can hear the churning and sloshing of water
And feel the warmth.
It's like being at the beach on vacation where you don't have to wash the dishes.

I'd say I left my heart in Mongolia, but have never actually been there before.

Someday we'll go to
The land of blue skies
Loved for everything I know
And everything I don't
Somewhere between mountaintops I'll let out an age-old sigh,
Feel each step on the steppe,
Walk the paths wild horses walk,
The way the takhi trod.
I'll leave all the sadness in my heart there
To be swept away by the wind
Across plains that go on
And on
And terrain untouched
My body is without the toughness of a nomad
But perhaps this heart will fit right in,
In possibly one of the coldest and warmest lands in the world.

Candles Imitating the Sun
What is being liked by people compared to being loved by God?
Perhaps the difference of warmth between a candle and the sun.
Don't we all burn to be candles imitating the sun?

Sarah Blasko's 'Luxurious'
Listening to Sarah Blasko's 'Luxurious' is a unique pleasure. Her music gives chills with her haunting voice, that drifts over deep and symbolic lyrics; it is a hallmark that makes her one of my favourite artists (not to mention that for some reason her video for "All I Want" reminds me a bit of Mongolia which makes me very happy). Nevertheless, while Luxurious has taken a unique turn I love it no less.
Luxurious' lyrics are very simple; they may be taken at face value, yet no sincerity is lost. Sarah sings this one with a fuller voice, and has a velvety abstract video reminiscent of old computer visualizers of the 90's. Doesn't the song sound... indigo? (if that makes any sense).
Sarah writes poetic lyrics often about more complex ideas and isn't afraid of touching on and expressing even very sad emotions. but the contentment portrayed in these simple words speaks of a profound type of love and happiness.
In cases where people do not believe happiness can be deep, sadly they have simply never had the profound experience of true happiness.
Reality is like the gravity that keeps us down on level ground. Instinctively "depth" means digging down, but beyond the imaginations of many people have learned to fly, deep into the sky, even to outer space.
As an artist, Sarah Blasko is a free spirit who has mastered artistic expression of deep, sincere feelings, and with Luxurious gives us as listeners a taste of profound happiness.
