A few things to remember during a disagreement

Sometimes when people are being illogical, it's because they are feeling very intense emotions.

However. Just because someone feels very intensely about something or it makes them emotional, that does not automatically mean their basis is illogical.

And finally, just because someone does not cry or raise their voice, that doesn't mean they're not feeling it.
