We live in a world where people will like you online but not love you in real life.

The value that pops up in the bottom corner of a post is literally just counting conventionality.
It's sad and scary seeing so many young people feel so attached to social media. How much weight is on it for them, how this is a world where that’s what makes people feel affirmed now, by likes instead of love because it’s so hard to break through walls for real love.
