A poem about the Living God

The depths of your design to the heights of their flight,

The systems you have set giving light day and night.

You are my star all day,

And my moon all night,

Burning brighter the sun,

Even more brilliant in your might.

A million stars a million suns,

You list and name each one.

While to some they are just specks,

Not one you ever forget.

I am a speck but not a star,

Comparatively powerless.

Even in my best efforts,

I fall apart, a rainy mess.

But he still cares for me,

With greater love than one can even hold.

I pray to praise him all my days

From youth to when I am old.

Let the name Jehovah ring,

Let us all understand that name’s worth.

Jehovah the Living God,

May you be exalted in all the earth.
