Lesson From a Thoughtful Redditor - Title: "I don't think he's going to change"

I posted the deleted a picture on r/depressionmeals. Pita, hummus, and Mike and Ike's. Bad angle as I flopped on the couch.

Title: "I don't think he's going to change"

u/Steammail must have commented right as I was deleting. Really grateful for these words. They were exactly what I needed to hear.

u/Steammail:

"Sometimes we need change before we can make changes. Paths can always cross again, but no one makes progress standing in the same bad place.

I like adding cucumber, zaatar seasoning and a squeeze of lemon on the pita w/ hummus

Keep moving in the right direction ✌🏽"

Naturally, I did thank them.

Seeing the one upvote on that comment to say thanks made me glad, too. The genuine heart, and the thoughts conveyed mean a lot right now especially.

They feel kind. And they have things I needed to remember.

I have their username in my private journal just in case they wouldn't want it here, particularly. But they will probably be up for it now that I have asked about it. These words are very thoughtful and mean a lot right now.

They made the word "if" feel okay again.
