Recipes and a nice lunch with a new friend, and an old friend

Today I woke up in less pain than the day before. Still here, but definitely more able.

After my video physiotherapy appointment I went on Instagram for a bit and came across this delicious-looking soup recipe:

After spending a few days in a small Northern town where I largely lived off fries and iced coffee, I was really missing my healthy Asian food and decided to go for my own spin on the soup for lunch for myself, along with Chinese eggs and tomato.

It's just me in the apartment for lunch today, but I brought some some little bowls of the foods upstairs for my dad and Grandma. (I will also save some for when Mom and E are home.) I hope they like it.

I decided to have lunch outside in the fresh air. It's cool today, but my long gray cardigan made me comfortable.

(Guilty of a little food photo shoot).

After saying my prayer I finally dug into my, now slightly cooled, food.

A pretty small bee kept trying to eat my eggs and tomato. Without thinking about it too much, I gently waved her way a couple times and put a lid on top. She tried to access the eggs anyway, and I realized she really wanted it and I didn't even think of sharing!

By the time I finally actually thought about this, unfortunately she had already flown away.

In case she came back though, I put just a very small spoon of food on a napkin held down with some rocks.

I looked around and she didn't come. I proceeded to eat my lunch.

A ladybug came to sit with me for a bit. Another landed on my hair later, but the B seemed to have gone away.

I am very happy to say though, within a couple minutes this little bee was back, and her and I enjoyed some Chinese food for lunch together.

Even after she left, a larger bee came to join for a moment as well.

I had also documented the ingredients I put in the foods I made for lunch today, and put them in collages so I can refer to my spin on these recipes later. I decided to post the recipes on my close friends story on Instagram, and got a response about the mushrooms in the eggs, And also in response to my post about my new little bee friend, from my good friend Em1, and also a sweet response from another friend, Em3.

Yesterday up north, my mom and I went on a walk before going home, and started picking out things in nature we saw, calling them people we love.

Both of these friends were among them.

But before I could even say anything, in the conversation about the mushrooms Em1 send me a photo of flowers with this message:

"When I see these flowers I say oh [M's] flowers lol"

Stunned, I proceeded to tell her what my mom and I did with the things in nature up north just the day before, and sent her the photo of the magenta Clover patch that I had called her and her husband, G.

"You’re kidding me !!!! We are so vibing ❤️"

How did I end up with such wonderful people in my life?
